Glendale Hills Living intends to raise $50,000 for local charities by December 2018. In October alone the magazine raised over $3,000 for the charitable organization Midnight Mission. For the past couple of months, the magazine has thrown a launch party in honor of that month’s issue. All of the proceeds raised during the party go to a different charity. In addition to Midnight Mission, the magazine has also donated to the Glendale Historical Society. The next charity that the magazine plans to donate to is the Oral Cancer Foundation (OCF). In 2017 Glendale Hills Living plans to throw 3-4 larger parties rather than a party each month. This way the parties can be grander events for all who attend. Each party features events like wine tastings and silent auctions. Many of the attendees also donate money to charity by writing a personal check. Below are two pictures from the October launch party.
